The Mairie du 19e invites you to discover the Boogaloops show, which promises to sweep you away in a colorful whirlwind of dance and music.
Inspired by jazz, swing and boogaloo, this show features four musicians and three dancers with luminous hula hoops in the colors of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Nourished by the richness of Afro-American, European and Latin cultures, this inclusive show evolves as it is enriched by influences from around the world.
Following on from the show, the audience is invited to a large-scale participatory ball. Suitable for all audiences, the ball features guided improvisations to different rhythms and musical styles.
Participants are invited to dance alone or with others, to develop their ability to listen to others, to explore space, to become aware of their bodies through movement, beyond any need for performance.

The Streetside company promotes music and dance through live performance and educational workshops. The company is made up of musicians and dancers who draw inspiration from jazz in all its forms to offer a show that is close to the audience, in a spirit of interaction and proximity.
